The L1 has been in production since 1937 and remains a firm favourite with designers, architects and the general public. L1 has deservedly been heralded as a classic and has been awarded many prizes for its timeless archetypal design.
The Illinois Institute of Technology Fortune's list considered it one of the 100 best products ever made.
A desk clamp is supplied as standard.
Light Source: (not included) Any 60 watt ES type (Edison Screw) lamp is suitable. Alternatively an energy saving 12 watt ES fluorescent lamp may be used.
Arm: L1 has external springs and is easily adjusted to the required working position.
Options: L1 is available in black or aluminium grey and supplied complete with a desk clamp. An optional weighted desk base is available, please see below.
